This project is an web based application designed to create this “get-away” in a digital environment. A moment of silence (with “white noise” like soothing audio feedback), where there’s only you (as both observer and observed). A way to center, re anchor, regain focus, breath, remind one self of the path desired, meditate.
- Does a mirror have a psychological effect on a subject?
- Is gazing into eyes has a psychological effect?
- What effect on our psychics has glazing into eyes, and what effect does it have in glazing into one selves eyes
- Could self glazing have any therapeutic qualities?
- Are we producing empathic resonance when gazing at our selves?
Party analogy – You are in a party. Loud noise, flickering lights in colors, many people around, alcohol, money, thoughts…
Then you walk into the restroom. All of a sudden a major contrast — silence (relatively), Only you are there in front of a mirror. You gaze at yourself.
